Ingredients |
1/2 cup plain low fat yogurt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce, or to taste
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 roasting chicken

Method: 1.
In a large glass baking dish mix together yogurt, cinnamon, chili powder,
hot pepper sauce, and garlic. |

2. Cover the dish tightly and marinate in the
refrigerator, overnight. 3. Preheat the oven
to 500 F. Place chicken skin side up on a raised broiler rack and place it
in the oven.
4. Immediately reduce the temperature to 350 F and
roast for about 1 1/4 hours.
5. Serve hot or cold. |
